RFC 666 This is a copy of a 'missing' RFC, number 666. It was donated by the author, Mike Padlipsky, who is a personal friend. This RFC is listed in the global RFC index as 'not online'. In fact, the author has been trying to get the electronic copy accepted by the RFC editor for some years, without success. There is some further explanation of this within the document. The content may not be interesting to everyone, but it's here to ensure slightly more historical completeness!

Incidentally, the number of this RFC should not be interpreted as any clue to its content; but it is, note well, The Real RFC 666, and a major motivation for the author's having "converted" it himself was to combat to some extent the fake attributions to "RFC 666" so popular in certain spiritually adolescent circles.
